The disappointing retrieve yesterday and the impossibility to call someone for assistance at a reasonable price causes me to look for a kenyan SIMcard for my phone as fast as possible and we decide to do that today. We take the matatu from Iten to Eldoret, as the telephone companies have closed down their offices in Iten last year. There we buy a SIMcard with 3gbs of internet use for a month at a nice price - voice call and SMS are next to nothing anyway. The cell-phone covering is perfect all over in the areas, where we are usually around. Using Google Earth is better than carrying any map, WhatsApp is the first choice for communication including pics, move, gps-data, a.s.o. So the open cell-phone with the kenyan SIMcard does about all, even live-tracking or flight-recording, if you want it to. We visit some markets and use indirect ways between the matatu-places and the hotel or the destinations. All in all a relaxing day with a lot of kenyan impressions.
